What is Blood N’ Popcorn
Blood N’ Popcorn is a Horror Culture Brand that aims to celebrate the very best (and worst) of the genre, in all its forms while gathering all our favorite aspects of the Horror Community under one roof.
Our vast array of content offerings feature everything from Blogs and Reviews to Live Shows and Scripted Content.
There is something for everyone at Blood N’ Popcorn and as the legendary horror icon Zelda Rubinstein said in the 1982 classic, Poltergeist… “All are welcome”.
Meet the Team
-
T.J. Rotell
HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT / HOST
A 20+ year veteran in the Entertainment Industry, T.J. has loved the Horror Genre since 1990 when an accidental viewing of “Stephen King’s IT” broke his fragile little 8 year old mind… and his love of Horror has only grown since. From his younger years rummaging through the discount VHS bins at Fox Video in Northeastern PA to his time stocking the shelves at Blockbuster in Culver City, the mission has always remained the same… Make movies with his friends and have fun doing it.

Denise Pantoja
HEAD OF PRODUCTION / HOST
Denise’s obsession with movies took her to Los Angeles where she was lucky enough to begin a career in the film industry. From a young age, horror has held a special place in her black heart. It’s all a bloody feast for her eyes, from vintage B-horror to today’s A-list populated mainstream offerings…and everything in between. From watching them to making them, movies are her life. She’s a multi-hyphenate passionate storyteller with dreams and nightmares to share.

Glenn Akers
PRODUCER / HOST
Ever since picking up his parents Hi8 camera at the age of 10, Glenn has been making films of varying quality. He took those dreams to Hollywood [redacted]+ years ago where he’s been toiling away ever since. His profound love of horror and all things weird started in the aisles of the independent video stores back in rural Illinois of the 90s. His devotion to the genre has stayed with him ever since and has (d)evolved into a near obsession with physical media collecting.
